Our Company

Locally owned and family operated since 1986, Aries Transportation has been under the current ownership since 2006 – when the company moved from West Seneca, NY to the city of Buffalo, NY. Under the leadership of President Joseph Ieraci, Aries has increased in size from 15 vehicles and 18 employees in 2006, to a fleet of over 100 vehicles and more than 120 employees strong today.

Aries is above all a service business – and there are two crucial keys to our success: our vehicles and our people. Ensuring our clients’ safety and security is always our top priority.

Our Drivers
Aries selects only drivers who are capable, skilled, and of good moral character. All drivers are certified and registered under the NYS DMV 19A Bus Driver program. In addition, each driver must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal background checks. Aries will not hire individuals convicted of physical abuse or felonies, or who have been found to be using illegal drugs. Our drivers undergo regular training with an emphasis on safety and sensitivity to our clients.

Our Vehicles
Aries Transportation maintains a fleet of over 100 vans outfitted in various configurations to transport up to either four wheelchair clients, a combination of wheelchair and ambulatory, or ambulatory only (appx. 12 passenger).

Our vans adhere to all Department of Transportation guidelines pertaining to this classification of vehicle and are required to pass DOT inspection every 6 months. In addition, Aries maintains a minimum 3-month preventative maintenance schedule on each vehicle.

[Aries] drivers are truly part of our care team, treating our Registrants more like family than like customers. … When asked about Aries, one of the Registrants said,

‘They are kind and considerate, patient and polite,’

and another…said,

‘Yes, and they make everything alright.’
